Flintstrike Education

Privacy & Cookies

Version: 15 September 2026

The short version: this site has no login, and unless you accept cookies, browsing it collects nothing that identifies you. When you get in touch, through the short form in our Facebook and Instagram ads or by message, we use what you tell us to answer you, nothing else.

  1. Who we are

Flintstrike Education, a company registered in England & Wales, company number 16519699. Our registered office is Flintstrike Education Ltd, 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Consultations are held in Central, Hong Kong, by appointment. For anything on this page, write to info@flintstrike-edu.com. It reaches a founder, not a ticket queue.

  2. What we collect on this website

This site has no account and no newsletter sign-up, and nothing on it asks for your name. The only form we run sits inside our Facebook and Instagram ads, described below. If you decline cookies, your visit leaves us no record of you at all.

If you accept cookies, Meta's advertising pixel records which of our pages a browser viewed and whether it clicked through to WhatsApp, along with the technical data any web request carries: IP address, device and browser type, and the page you came from. We use it to learn which pages actually help families, and whether our advertising reaches people it should.

Google Analytics, also only if you accept, counts which pages were viewed and which links were clicked, with device type and approximate location, so we can see how families use the site.

  3. Cookies, and the two trackers we run

We run two third-party trackers: the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel and Google Analytics. Neither loads, and neither sets anything, until you press Accept. Declining is a real no. Your choice is stored in your browser so we do not ask again. It is not a tracker, it never leaves your device, and nothing is sent to Meta.

Everything else this site needs (typefaces, images, scripts) is served from our own domain. Loading a page does not quietly call out to a font service or a content network, and both trackers wait for your Accept, so if you decline, your browser contacts nobody but us.

  4. The form in our Facebook and Instagram ads

Some of our Facebook and Instagram ads open a short form, run by Meta inside its own apps, so you fill it in without leaving them. It asks for the parent's name, phone number and email, and for your answers to its questions: your child's school year, the subjects they are aiming at, their predicted grades, when they plan to apply, a short written answer about your child, and how you would like to go ahead. When you submit it, Meta passes it to us and we keep it in HighLevel, the system we use to manage enquiries. We use it to contact you on WhatsApp about your consultation and, if you become a client, to deliver the programme.

  5. What you send us directly

Most families reach us on WhatsApp. When you message us we receive your phone number, whatever name your account shows, and what you choose to tell us, typically your child's school year, subjects, predicted grades and the courses they are aiming at. The same applies to email. We use it to give you a straight answer about whether we can help, and to deliver the programme if you become a client.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked to hear from us.

  6. Why we are allowed to hold it

For cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw above at any time. For enquiries, including the form in our ads, and client work: performing our agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us asking for help.

  7. Who else sees it

Meta Platforms Ireland, if you accept cookies or fill in the form in one of our ads, and WhatsApp (also Meta) for messages you send there. HighLevel, the system where we keep enquiries from that form. Google, whose Workspace hosts our email and whose Analytics counts site visits if you accept cookies. Our website is served by Vercel. Each of these processes data on our behalf. We do not give any of them your information to use for their own marketing.

We do not sell your data. There is no circumstance in which we would.

  8. Students under 18

Most applicants we work with are 16 to 18. We ask that a parent or guardian makes the first contact and is party to the agreement, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child directly. A student's name or results appear in our marketing only where the family has specifically agreed, and then only as a first name, an abbreviated surname and a school, never a full name, and never without that agreement.

  9. Where the data goes

We are a UK company working with families in Hong Kong, so information moves between the two. Where it leaves the UK we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place for international transfers. Hong Kong families are additionally covered by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

  10. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients, form answers included: up to two years, because admissions cycles run long and families often come back the following year. Client records: seven years after the engagement ends, which covers UK company and tax record-keeping. Cookie data is held to Meta's own retention periods; Google Analytics keeps it for two months. Ask us to delete something sooner, form answers included, and we will delete it from HighLevel and the rest of our records, unless the law requires us to keep it.

  11. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or withdraw consent. Write to info@flintstrike-edu.com and we will answer within one month. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data at pcpd.org.hk.

  12. Changes

If we add anything else that collects data (a booking tool, for example), this page changes before it goes live, and the version date above changes with it, as it did in September 2026 for the form in our ads and for Google Analytics.
