Track record

What's your track record?

Our tutors have collectively secured 12+ Oxford & Cambridge offers and 70+ London university offers — and since 2023, every G5 applicant Flintstrike has taken has received a G5 offer. Selected cases, named with each family's consent, are on the Results page.

Is the track record verifiable?

Yes. The Results page shows named cases — first name, abbreviated surname, school and course — published with each family's consent. We never publish a student's name without the family's agreement, and we never invent a case.

What counts as "a G5 offer"?

A conditional or unconditional offer, via UCAS, from any of the five: University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, LSE or UCL.

Selectivity

Why would you reject my child?

Because we only take students whose predicted grades put a G5 offer within honest reach. If that's not your child yet, we'll tell you what would need to change and when to come back. We'd rather lose a fee than mislead a family.

What would make you say no to us?

Predicted grades without a realistic path up in time. A course list that doesn't fit the student. A parent who wants a promise of admission — nobody honest sells that. And from late in the cycle, capacity: delivery compresses as 15 October approaches, and we cap enrolment to protect the students already in.

My child's predicted grades aren't strong yet — is it worth talking?

Yes, if you want a straight answer rather than a sales pitch. We'll tell you what would need to change and when to come back. If your child is in Year 11 or 12, an early conversation is welcome — the strongest applications start before the pressure does.

Money

What does it cost?

G5 Personal Statement: HK$32,000–38,000. Personal Statement with admissions tests: HK$55,000–70,000. A complete programme — Oxbridge or Medicine: HK$95,000–120,000. The first consultation is free, and every fee is fixed in writing before you commit. Full details on the Pricing page.

Why do you publish prices when almost nobody in Hong Kong does?

Because a family investing this much should know exactly what they are buying before they ask. Published prices also keep us honest: the fee is the fee, not a reading of what you might pay.

Is there a smaller way to start?

Three ways, in order. The first consultation is free — a straight read on your child's chances. If you want a deeper dive, a G5 Strategy Consultation: 45 minutes with a founder and a written course shortlist for £250, credited against any package. And a trial lesson — a single hour with a subject tutor, billed normally. No programme, no obligation.

Process

What happens after I message you?

You'll get a reply within minutes from our assistant — it will ask for your child's school year, subjects and predicted grades, in English or Chinese, whichever you write in. Then you book a free consultation with one of the founders directly. No pressure at any step; the selectivity works both ways.

Who actually works with my child?

G5-graduate subject specialists — Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial graduates, multiple 45/45 IBs and First-Class degrees; representative profiles are on the About page. The founder leads strategy on every case.

How much of my child's time does it take?

Honestly: the summer is the heavy period. Personal statement drafts and test preparation happen before UCAS opens on 1 September; the load eases once the application is in.

We're starting late — can you still take us?

Sometimes. Delivery compresses as 15 October approaches, and we cap enrolment to protect the students already enrolled. Message us with your child's profile and we'll give you a straight answer either way.

Practicalities

可以用中文查詢嗎?

當然可以。直接以中文 WhatsApp 我們(+852 6608 7719),我們以中文回覆。

My child is at a UK boarding school and we're in Hong Kong — does that work?

Yes. Calls with parents are timed for Hong Kong; sessions with your child are timed for the UK. Most of our delivery is remote by design.

Who is Auxiliary Education?

The same team. Flintstrike Education was founded by the team behind Auxiliary Education (est. 2023); Flintstrike is the go-forward brand. Testimonials collected under the Auxiliary name are shown unedited.

Do you use my child's results in marketing?

Only with the family's consent, and only as a first name, abbreviated surname and school — exactly as on the Results page.

Are you an agent?

No. Agents are paid commission by the institutions they place students into; we are paid by you, and only you. The G5 universities run no agent networks — so for G5 applications, an "agent" cannot be earning commission from the university.
